It’s clear that we have been waiting for you for the last 5 days. For some reason, we humans have a way of working for the weekend instead of enjoying each and every day. This human is included in that lump but…I’m working on it! Trying to step out of crazy life and stress can be hard but you need to take the time for YOU.
Stress and time management so often suck at a person’s own feelings. We often don’t think about how our environment can make us put ourselves last and doing this can silently suck the life out of you.
It seems to me that we should take some time to put ourselves first and get back on the track of happiness. How in the world can we do that when there is so much more to put first? Well, you just have to make it happen in any small way that you can. When it comes down to it, there is no wrong way to pamper yourself.
- 5 minutes of yoga
- smiling in the mirror and telling yourself you are enough
- a good cup of coffee and a book.
- walk with nature
You deserve a few minutes for yourself. I do not have children so I won’t claim to know how busy and hard life can get but…I’m here to tell you that you have to do it. The more you let yourself be last the more alone, sad, and isolated you can become with time. The key is to see when it is happening and take some time to feel the feelings, take a slow breath, forgive yourself and move on.
The only person that can make the change is YOU! It may be hard and scary at first but I promise it will get easier with time, practice, patience and love. Until next time-J
